Does Wedit work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Wedit supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later, and 64-bit PCs running Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Will Wedit edit the way I do?
You stay in charge of the creative decisions. You choose the music, sections, length and favorite shots. Wedit builds the first cut around those choices, then you review it before you export.
What if I do not like one of the selected shots?
Change it. The shot board lets you review the choices, remove what does not belong and replace it with another moment before you export.
How long does a first cut take?
That depends on how much footage you have and how quickly it uploads. Keep Wedit open during the upload. Once it is complete, you can close the app and we will email you when the film is ready.
Can I use my own music?
Yes. Add the track you want and Wedit builds the cut around it. You remain responsible for having the right license to use that music in the finished film.
Can I finish the film in my usual editing software?
Yes. Export the timeline and continue in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. It reconnects to the original media on your computer, so you can keep working in the setup you already know.
Does Wedit change my original footage?
No. Your original files stay untouched. Wedit creates a new edit from them, so your source footage remains exactly where it was.
Is my footage private?
Yes. Your footage is encrypted while it is transferred and stored, is kept with your account and is used only to provide the service. You can delete it with the project.
How does pricing work?
Your first project is included. After that, you pay per wedding instead of taking on another monthly subscription. You will always see the price before you buy.
